Subsurface Temperature And Salinity Analyses

ds285.3
| DOI: 10.5065/Y6CR-KW66

Abstract:

Monthly objectively analyzed subsurface temperature and Salinity at 24 levels in the upper 1500 meters started from 1945 and prepared by M. Ishii et al.

The analysis is based on the World Ocean Database and Atlas (ds285.0), the Global Temperature-Salinity in the tropical Pacific from IRD (L'Institut de recherche pour le development, France, ds279.1), and the Centennial in situ Observation Based Estimates (COBE) sea surface temperature. Argo profiling buoy data have also been used in the final several years. The XBT depth bias correction is applied in the current version.

Citation counts are compiled through information provided by publicly-accessible APIs according to the guidelines developed through the https://makedatacount.org/ project. If journals do not provide citation information to these publicly-accessible services, then this citation information will not be included in RDA citation counts. Additionally citations that include dataset DOIs are the only types included in these counts, so legacy citations without DOIs, references found in publication acknowledgements, or references to a related publication that describes a dataset will not be included in these counts.
