Abstract:

Goals:
Relative rate experiment to measure 2-methylbut-3-ene-1,2-diol (1,2-DHI) + OH relative to propene + OH

Summary:
1,2-DHI, propene, and CH3ONO were injected and lights were turned on to initiate photooxidation. Turning on a few lights at first didn't do much, so all lights were turned on a few minutes later. After the first round of photooxidation, a second bulb of CH3ONO was added to repeat the experiment
