Goals:
Find SOA yield for decane + Cl under high NOx condition (NO injected). Investigate volatility behavior based on 2D thermograms.
Summary:
Ammonium sulfate seed (0.01M, 150 mL) was injected using an aerosol generation system. Cl2 gas and NO gas were injected from their cylinders. 81 ug/m^3 of decane was injected into a glass bulb and heated clean air was made to flow over it, carrying the volatilized decane into the chamber. After ~30 minutes (sufficient mixing time), lights were turned on for 1 hour. 68.3 ug/m^3 of SOA were formed, giving a yield of 0.84. This is Experiment #5 in the associated publication. (Awaiting addition of some timeline details from experimental sheet)
