On August 27, 2025, the NSF NCAR Climate Data Gateway (CDG) and Geoscience Data Exchange (GDEX) will be migrated into the RDA. Please update your bookmarks and citations.
The RDA Jira Help Desk will be unavailable starting August 25 at 5:00 PM MDT. Service will resume on August 26 under a new name: DATAHELP. All customer channels will automatically redirect to the new DATAHELP page.
Since April 2015, NCAR's Mesoscale and Microscale Meteorology (MMM) Laboratory, in collaboration with NCAR's Computational Information Systems Laboratory (CISL), has been producing daily, real-time, 10 member, 48 hour ensemble forecasts with 3 km horizontal grid spacing over the conterminous United States (http://ensemble.ucar.edu). Selected post-processed 2D fields and select soundings are available.

Citation counts are compiled through information provided by publicly-accessible APIs according to the guidelines developed through the https://makedatacount.org/ project. If journals do not provide citation information to these publicly-accessible services, then this citation information will not be included in RDA citation counts. Additionally citations that include dataset DOIs are the only types included in these counts, so legacy citations without DOIs, references found in publication acknowledgements, or references to a related publication that describes a dataset will not be included in these counts.
